Why does this site exist?

Pimple patches are everywhere, and so are exaggerated claims about them. PimplePatche exists to explain, in plain language, how patches work, which kinds of spots they suit, which they do not, and when a patch is the wrong tool. The site is information first. It is not a store and does not sell anything.

How does the site earn money?

No affiliate programs are active right now, so this site does not currently earn money from links. If that changes, this page and every affected article will say so. Our affiliate disclosure explains how that works if it is turned on.

What can you expect from the articles?

• Every article shows its author, when it was last updated and when it was last reviewed.
• Health statements are checked against named sources, which are listed at the bottom of each article.
